After over a year in the making, we are thrilled to announce that our Heritage Home Collection has arrived!
The Heritage Home Collection is a thoughtfully curated, five-piece pattern collection, designed for you and your home. The collection is a collaboration between knitting friends Jill Zielinski (@Knitterella) and Dori Kershner (@florydori). All pieces are knit and designed in our signature North Bay Fiber Heritage yarn.
Our beloved Heritage yarn is light and lofty, and each pattern perfectly highlights its attributes. From a cozy cardigan perfect for layering to beautiful pillows for your home, each piece is sure to become a treasure.

We took the Angler shawl and mirrored it to create a blanket! Worked from the center out with wide garter stripes, this simple piece makes a grand statement. Our colors are inspired by the iconic Hudson Bay Blanket, but the blanket would be just as beautiful in a solid. This woolly blanket will be an heirloom for years to come.

Worked entirely in one piece, the Angler Pillow will add a pop of color and texture to your favorite room! The front panel is a large mitered square. Mitered triangles are then picked up and knit, creating easy access for your pillow insert! With 3 different sizes, we know you’ll enjoy working up a set for your bed or sofa. For an extra treat, knit the companion Master Angler blanket to match!

Outer Bay is a classic color-blocked raglan cardigan, and is the perfect addition to your wardrobe. Knit in the lofty Heritage yarn, this cardigan gives you all the warmth without the weight! The Raglan yoke provides a flattering fit across all sizes and the ribbed placket hugs your neck with short row shaping, creating a gorgeous fold-over collar. Afterthought pockets are a charming accent to this top-down, cool weather staple!

Named after the Saginaw Bay, twisted cables flow in and out, creating an intricate yet surprisingly intuitive design. All odd rounds are simple knits and purls, and all cables are performed without the use of a cable needle. The stitch pattern is easily memorized. All these elements make for a fun and engaging project that you’ll want to return to time and time again, each time you redecorate. Choose from a square or lumbar shape, or knit both styles and you’ll have a beautiful set to accent your bed or sofa!

Ravelry Group + Our First KAL!

We have 'finally' created a North Bay Fiber group on Ravelry.com! We have wanted to do this for a long time but were just waiting for the right opportunity. While the group is still very new we are just getting started and hope you'll join. Even better, with the Heritage Home Collection Release AND the start of our North Bay Fiber Ravelry group the timing is perfect to host our first ever KAL (knit-a-long)!
